United We Stand: An International Statement Opposing Gender Ideology
Over the past decade, gender ideology has emerged as a deeply divisive issue around the world. It strikes at the heart of civilization because it contradicts scientific knowledge and is an affront to the anthropological and moral truths that any stable civilization recognizes.
This ideology extends its influence into academia, private spaces, sports, medicine, courts, politics, and everyday language. As it spreads, it disrupts families and violates the natural bonds between parents and their children. The more that governments compel their citizens to comply with gender ideology, the more they endanger democratic self-governance.
Gender ideologues seek to replace the sexual binary of male and female with an “internal sense of gender” called “gender identity” that may contradict one’s “sex assigned at birth.” In this way, a subjective state of mind and a mere social construct obscure the reality of male and female—a reality that every human culture recognized until recently. Our commitments to truth and to the value and sanctity of the family and human life compel us to resist this ideology and to affirm Seven Core Principles:
Protection of Freedom of Belief and Expression,
Maintaining or Recovering the Legal Priority of Sex over “Gender Identity,”
Respect for National Sovereignty,
Ethical Medical Practices,
Parental Consent and Confidentiality,
Protection of Minors, and
Non-discrimination in International Law and Institutions.

In conclusion, we reject gender ideology because it contradicts perennial moral principles and well-understood biological realities. Men and women form marriages, families, and nations that become the foundation of any stable civilization. Therefore, governments and international bodies must respect the rights of men, women, and children to exercise their fundamental freedom to recognize the biological reality of sex and the natural differences between males and females.
